I've painted it a crisp cottage white, given it light distressing for added charm, and painted delicate pink roses on the face and body of the clock. The pendulum was redone from it's plain round look to an ornate metal piece to which I've added a porcelain rose. The clockwork mechanism was changed out also. To add interest and sparkle, a mirror was added behind the pendulum, making it really stand out.
It's been given the utmost in detail, is well sealed, artist signed, and ready to hang in that perfect place in your cottage home. it measures 35" tall by 14" wide and 3" deep.
