 Payment

Secure Online Payment: Choose to pay using your credit card, debit card, or bank account through PayPal. Make secure purchases without revealing your credit card number or financial information. PayPal provides a safe, quick, and simple means to purchase online, using secure ssl encryption to protect your private information. It is not necessary to have a PayPal account in order to pay with your credit/debit card or bank account. However, you do have the option to sign up for an account with PayPal, which is absolutely free. Other Methods of Payment Accepted: Checks and Postal Money Orders are also accepted. Personal checks must clear before merchandise can be shipped (usually 5-7 days). If you are paying by check or money order, payment is expected within 5-7 days. If payment is not received within 10 days the item(s) purchased will be put back into inventory and made available for sale.

Layaway: Sorry, layaway is no longer available, as of October 30, 2007. No exceptions. 

Shipping

Domestic & International: We utilize the shipping services of USPS, DHL, FedEx, and UPS, whichever is most economical while providing a 3-5 day shipping period. Items will be shipped to you within 2-3 days of receipt of your payment, sooner when possible.

Very large or oversized items (such as furniture, floor lamp, etc.) cannot be shipped via ground shipping. Therefore, the customer will be responsible for making arrangments with PLYCON for pick-up and delivery. 

The shipping calculator only computes shipping charges for UPS and USPS, and is usually very accurate. However, in the event the shipping calculator overcharges or another carrier offers a better rate, the lower rate will be applied to your purchase and the difference refunded to you via PayPal.

Local Pickup: If you live in or near Orange County, California you have the option to pick up your items and save on shipping costs. All items MUST be picked up within 30 days, unless another mutual arrangement has been made. Items not picked up within this generous timeframe will be considered "abandoned" and, therefore, shall be forfeited and become the property of Rose Cottage Chic. Item(s) shall be put back into stock and made available for sale.

**International Shipping: International customers please email first for a shipping quote and any other additional charges that may apply.

Shipping Insurance/Claims: Purchasing shipping insurance is strongly recommended. PLEASE NOTE uninsured lost or damaged items WILL NOT BE COVERED by the shipper, nor will a refund be available from Rose Cottage Chic.

We take great care in packaging your purchases, but occasionally items may become damaged in transit. If you receive an item that has been damaged, we will be happy to file the insurance claim for you and follow-up to ensure your refund is credited back to you as soon as the shipping service pays the claim. Please note: The shipper is responsible for refunding the customer for damaged items.

Once a claim has been submitted the shipping service will pick up the package from your home and the claim will be paid in approximately 10 business days.  All shipping services REQUIRE that you retain the original packaging and box for their inspection and processing of your claim. Please keep all original packaging in tact and with your item for pick up.  Failure to do so may result in your claim being rejected.

 

Returns and Refunds

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. In the event you wish to return an item for any reason other than shipping damages, please contact us via email within 3 days of receipt of your purchase to obtain a Return Authorization Number. Returned items without an Authorization Number will not be accepted.

We will be happy to refund you the amount of your purchase via a confirmed PayPal account. If you do not have a PayPal account, a store credit will be issued. Shipping fees are not refundable. Refunds on returned items, for reasons other than damages due to shipping, will be for store credit only.

Returned items should be packaged securely in their original packaging and original condition, and MUST be insured for the value of the item. The original packing slip along with your Return Authorization Number must be included as well. Returned items which become lost or damaged during shipping and have NOT been insured shall VOID all refunds or store credit.

Returned items must be received within 14 days of original purchase.

Custom or Special Order items are NOT returnable.  Payment in full is required for all custom or special orders at time of order.

 

Sales Tax

Sales taxes will be charged for shipments to California addresses only, and charged at the prevailing rate.

Ordering online through PayPal is quick, easy, and safe. Please be assured your privacy is of the utmost importance to Rose Cottage Chic. We will not sell, trade, or disclose your private information, including your email address.

All orders are secured with ssl encryption technology through PayPal. We ask only for the information we need to process your order. We appreciate your business and we respect your security concerns and your privacy.

We use "cookies" to keep track of your current shopping session so that you may retrieve your shopping cart at any time and enjoy a personal and pleasant shopping experience.
